Hand-painted in the Peacock Fan motif using the centuries-old kalamkari technique on pure cotton, dyed entirely in deep maroon and mustard. Each line is drawn free-hand with a bamboo kalam before the cloth is washed in flowing water to set its colours — no two pieces are ever quite the same.
