Lotus Trail Cotton Saree

Hand-painted in the Lotus Trail motif using the centuries-old kalamkari technique on pure cotton, dyed entirely in ochre and iron black. Each line is drawn free-hand with a bamboo kalam before the cloth is washed in flowing water to set its colours — no two pieces are ever quite the same.
